Auditor is a Python-implemented generative model framework for the detection of RNA-editing events from paired next-generation DNA and RNA sequence data.   The software takes BAM files as input, along with a configuration file specifying the analysis parameters, and outputs the probability of an RNA-edit at each position.   Putative RNA-edits are analyzed using a MutationSeq-like approach that effectively identifies sequencing and alignment artifacts to substantially decrease false positive results.
